Hydraulic gate closer and hinge kit – for safe, controllable gate closing. This hydraulically controlled gate closer and top hinge kit has been developed using proven technology to provide safe and reliable gate closing. Suitable for gates up to 120kg, this closer is powered by 2 heavy duty compression springs enclosed in a cast iron housing. The robust closer housing is welded or bolted underneath the gate and also acts as a load-bearing lower hinge. Fitted in this position the closer is unobtrusive and highly vandal resistant. The closer provides a fully controllable gate closing action to meet ROSPA recommendations. Two speed- control valves are situated underneath the closer. These can be adjusted for a fast closing speed if it is required to latch a gate lock or a slow speed to provide a quiet close onto an electromagnet. The kit includes a top hinge assembly which is fully adjustable to enable the gate to be positioned correctly after installation. No power is required
