Collars
Wrought iron work collars are quite simply to join all the wrought ironwork components together within a design. You will use a collar in several areas to attach a scroll to the frame, or scroll to scroll and so on. Once welded the design will be strong but still look like a high-end quality product thanks to the collar. Different styles of collar strip are available such as single ridge collar, double ridge collar and “D” shaped collar. The size is also important if you want 12mm square bar as the frame then you would want 12mm collar strip.
